Higher Education Planning in Asia (HEPA) Forum 2015

The HEPA Forum provides a platform for senior university planners and administrators across Asia to come together to interact, share best practices, and network - there have been few such opportunities in the region.

This will be the fourth year that HEPA is held. The previous three fora, held in Hong Kong, Seoul, and Beijing respectively, attracted over 170 participants from institutions across Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, and US. They rated the fora positively and found that the presentation/discussion topics highly relevant to their work. HEPA continues to spur interest and momentum for experience sharing and peer mentoring amongst Asian institutions.

The following are a few highlights of previous events:

• Speakers from different institutions and industry partners sharing about common challenges and issues faced by university planners.
• Highly-interactive live video links with the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Pacific Region Conference (HEPA 2012 & 2014), and institutional professionals and industry partners from New York City and Singapore to discuss international partnerships (HEPA 2013).
• Presentations, interactive breakout sessions, panel discussions, Pecha Kucha session, networking coffee breaks, lunches and dinner provided ample opportunities for peer exchanges.

HEPA Forum 2015 will be held in Singapore, on March 23-24, and will be hosted by Singapore Management University.

HEPA Forum 2015

The theme of the 2015 Forum is "Planning in a Rapidly Changing Environment". It will be a 2-day event which includes presentations, interactive sessions, panel discussions, networking coffee breaks, lunches and dinner, and campus tours. Live video links will be established with the concurrent Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Pacific Regional Conference held in Portland, USA, to allow for cross-continent exchanges and interactions.
