Call for Speakers

We are excited to invite esteemed educators, administrators, and industry professionals to present at our upcoming conference titled:

Why Speak at HEPA 2026?

The HEPA Forum is more than a conference — it is a community of practice where ideas are generated, acted upon, and revisited. Building on the outcomes of HEPA 2025’s World Café and Workshop, the 2026 Forum will feature progress updates from thematic groups and invite new contributions that continue this momentum.

What We’re Looking For?

We invite proposals that:

  1. Address emerging challenges in higher education planning, administration, and professional services.
  2. Showcase innovative solutions — from AI and digital transformation to agile processes and collaborative models.
  3. Advance the dialogue on sustainability, including fiscal resilience, resource optimisation, and environmental stewardship.
  4. Strengthen engagement — highlighting workforce development, recognition, and cross-university partnerships.
  5. Contribute to HEPA’s community of practice, by building on or connecting with ideas seeded at HEPA 2025.

Format of Contributions

We are looking for:

  • Thematic Session Presentations – 15–20 minutes + Q&A
  • Workshops – 60–90 minutes, interactive and outcome-oriented
  • Panel Discussions – 3–4 speakers sharing diverse perspectives on a shared theme

How to Submit

Please send your proposal using the Expression of Interest Button below

  • Title and abstract (150–200 words)
  • Preferred format (presentation, workshop, panel)
  • Short biography (100 words)
  • Relevance to one or more of the Forum’s three pillars

Notification of acceptance: 15 December 2025
Forum dates: 31 March to 2 April 2026

We encourage presentations that delve into innovative teaching methodologies, the integration of technology, and sustainable practices that ensure long-term success in higher education. Your expertise and insights will provide valuable contributions to the conference, sparking discussions and inspiring new ideas for educators and institutions across the region.

Our agenda also seeks to emphasize the importance of stakeholder engagement in the transformative process of higher education. We are looking for presenters who can share their experiences and strategies for involving students, faculty, and community members in educational reforms. We aim to foster a collaborative environment where attendees can learn from each other and implement effective changes in their own institutions.
